• ENERGY STAR room air cleaners are 35% more energy efficient than standard models.
• To qualify for the ENERGY STAR designation, room air cleaners must produce a minimum Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 50 for dust. CADR is a measure of the amount of contaminant-free air delivered by the room air cleaner.
• There are additional advantages in specific models, such as remote control settings, timers and adjustable vents.
